Welcome to the EvO:R-The Goods Section.
Many websites have been put up to warn people about scams
and services that do not live up to expectations. As a result we have
had a huge void in websites that list services that reach or exceed our expectations.
In March of 2004 I sent out emails to thousands of people requesting that if they had a great
experience with any company, service, or website involved in the music business to please send me
that information. Well, it seems as if it is much harder to get people to respond and share a
good experience then a bad one so we will slowly build each of our sections based on the results of the March 2004
emails and we will continue to add more and more topics and compliments as we move forward.
EvO:R does not take responsibility for any site or service in this section. We are simply providing
websites and services that have exceeded expectation in the past.

A ray of light in the dismal corporate world .
Far too often we read about how so-and-so ripped off so-and-so and it's far
too rare that folks take the time to actually tell about nice experiences
with businesses.
Recently I purchased a Presonus TUBEPre mic pre-amp from a company that uses
eBay to market their wares. Two weeks after I purchased it, the tube
stopped working. Expecting to be told I have to purchase another tube, I
emailed the person from whom purchased the unit and the short story is he
said to return the whole thing so he can test it and he's sending either a
replacement or if it tests okay with a new tube he'll send it back. In
either case, he's sending me two NEW tubes to help "pay back the
inconvenience" I experienced. He's also giving me free shipping on my next
purchase to offset the cost of shipping the pre-amp back. I'll be using
that free shipping because I will definitely purchase more from this
company.

get special treatment by dropping my name, but you will let him know that he
has at least one customer that appreciates his dedication to ethical
business practices.
And no, I'm not getting anything for doing this except the satisfaction that
comes for giving credit where credit is due. As for the TUBEPre itself, it's an excellent pre-amp and I was tickled pink
with the 'bang for the buck' that I got from it before the tube went bad.
