The EvO:R The Goods Section
Welcome to the EvO:R-The Goods Section.
Many websites have been put up to warn people about scams
and services that do not live up to expectations. As a result we have
had a huge void in websites that list services that reach or exceed our expectations.
In March of 2004 I sent out emails to thousands of people requesting that if they had a great
experience with any company, service, or website involved in the music business to please send me
that information. Well, it seems as if it is much harder to get people to respond and share a
good experience then a bad one so we will slowly build each of our sections based on the results of the March 2004
emails and we will continue to add more and more topics and compliments as we move forward.
EvO:R does not take responsibility for any site or service in this section. We are simply providing
websites and services that have exceeded expectation in the past.

Carrera Reviews -
Cheese and Rice Almighty, I knew this guy was a good
reviewer but this is the first time anyone's ever made me want to go out and buy
my own CD when I've already got 3 open ones in my collection. In case Bill reads this
before I get to him. Thank you- you made me want to send you money (for a moment, anyway)
and believe me, you can ask anyone who knows me that is an amazing feat. And Charlie,
much thanks for the good word and great place to park my butt. I'm beginning to feel
at home once again, a feeling I haven't had since sometime in '99. Thanks-Jimmy Caterine

Cafepress - still one of my favorite sites for promotion, I have bought many items for the
different groups I am involved in due to being able to buy just a few of each. We set up a catalog
of many items available to order and have a few samples on hand to show the quality. Not a great
margin of profit, but sometimes for promotional reasons, just breaking even is worth it.

Evor - (Charlie Harrelson)- I ordered one of Charlie's CD's from one of his
distributers which I will leave nameless. I wrote Charlie to let him know I never received it.
So he ended up making me a compilation CD of all the material he could fit on a blank CD.
Very cool. I think that makes Charlie 3 up on me now.

Derek Sivers - though I've never had the opportunity to speak with him on the phone,
when I did have a specific question for him. He made it a point to answer me as soon
as possible. That is basic customer service which is hard to find these days. I have
had a good experience at CD Baby
on both ends.(buying and selling)

Charlie Harrelson - Now here's a guy who's already two up on me and he won't let me
do anything for him. Or maybe he's so busy thinking about everyone else he forgets
to do things for himself. Not to mention, I would love to sit down and jam with
him sometime. Evor is excellent!!

Eric de Fonteney - I've been in contact with Eric for a few months now and
also had a pleasant convo with him a few weeks ago. So far so good.
Music Dish Network is a great idea. I hope to see it continue to grow.

Music Dish -I must say that I think the Music Dish Network was an awesome idea.
Another one I wish I woukd have thought of. I also have a business
relationship with them. Eric de Fonteney is another one who has a
positive vision for the future of music. And is also one who is
helping to empower independent artists.

Misc Suggestions - We had our Blue Gel -O- Shots cd manufactured in Canada. Very reasonable
rates very timely service. That was last year. We also had a very good experience with a
company called Skybow out of Nashville for ZZ cd. They were wonderful to deal with.
Owned by Al Joelsons(spell) grandson. Very professional kept in contact from start to
finish and great rates. We've also have a wonderful, on going, experience with an indie site, Charlie
the founder is tops, called Evor.com Ever hear of them?
Dan MacAvinchey - As a guitarist, I'm glad I have the opportunity to have distribution
through Guitar 9. Dan is another one who followed up with a request I had, promptly.
Actions like this tell me that these people care about what they're doing. If more people
really cared, this world would be a great place.

Rich Lynch - here's someone who actually remembers the band I played with
in the 80's. Seeing as the larger portion of the 30,000 or so records we sold
was throughout Europe, Rich deserves my personal award of appreciation. Kweevak
has my vote whereever he decides to land next.
