Welcome to EvO:R Entertainment
  •  The EvO:R The Goods Section

Welcome to the EvO:R-The Goods Section.

Many websites have been put up to warn people about scams and services that do not live up to expectations. As a result we have had a huge void in websites that list services that reach or exceed our expectations.

Every March I send out emails to thousands of people requesting that if they had a great experience with any company, service, or website involved in the music business to please send me that information. Well, it seems as if it is much harder to get people to respond and share a good experience then a bad one so we will slowly build each of our sections based on the results of the March emails and we will continue to add more and more topics and compliments as we move forward.

EvO:R does not take responsibility for any site or service in this section. We are simply providing websites and services that have exceeded expectation in the past.
  • Distribution Suggestions
  • Peacework Music Network -
I am going to sign up with Jef at Peacework Music. jef Is going to distribute our last CD. However what would be the point of paying Jef (yes I understand the payment for start up is free and I do understand his deal) and waisting his time and mine if I have no intention of promoting the record. Just because you hire a "Music Service" to help you. This does not mean that they are going to do everything for you. You still have to get off your a** and get to work.

  • CD Baby -
though I've never had the opportunity to speak with Derek Sivers on the phone, when I did have a specific question for him. He made it a point to answer me as soon as possible. That is basic customer service which is hard to find these days. I have had a good experience at CD Baby on both ends. (buying and selling)

  • Guitar9.com -
As a guitarist, I'm glad I have the opportunity to have distribution through Guitar 9. Dan MacAvinchey is another one who followed up with a request I had, promptly. Actions like this tell me that these people care about what they're doing. If more people really cared, this world would be a great place.

  • Peacework Music Network -
This distribution outlet supports over 500 artists from around the world. Bands are listed in PWMN's easy to navigate genre section with audio samples available for every song. You can market full CD's and even EP's via their distribution system. All this without having to constantly send them new inventory as they sell on demand..Jef Peace runs the show and he always followed up with all my questions in a very timely manner.

  • Mixonic
    - great service, Mixonic CDs sound and look good, and you can customize the package in paper, thin or standard jewel cases, and they print directly on the CD in full color. You have total control over the look of your product.

  • CD Baby -
We were so glad you asked us to send more cd's to CD Baby. We did sell 21 copies there, just last month. Seems ZZ is well liked in Japan and California. We were ignoring the request for more when you strongly suggested we send them. Of coarse we're glad we did. Thank you AGAIN Charlie.

  • Soundclick.com -
is actually great at updating and uploading most of the time, changes are quick...

  • Peacework Music Network
    - has great little album packages and the artwork prints nicely, CDs sound excellent.

  • CD Baby
    - works very well too!

  • CD Street
selling on CD Street works out fine as a self-shipper, you get a sale, get an email to send.

  • Mogulfree -
Have been pointing to MOGULFREE, which is a great protal, but no-one seems to buy from there.
    Website: Mogulfree

  • Starpolish
    - merged sales with CDBABY, so they have all our inventory at CDBABY, so selling from them links to CDBABY, sort of a double-link.
    Website: Star Polish

  • Peacework Music Network -
review of Through A Moving Window generated sales on CD BABY! What was weird is that the review should have linked to them, NOT CDBABY, but the purchaser left a message that they had to see for themselves what all the HOOPLA was about, so they did a JDA search and the sales link lead them to CDBABY. Still, Jef Peace was at least partly responible for a small increase in sales. Immediatley after this we sold 5 more on TOWER RECORDS UK.
