Welcome to the EvO:R Independent CD Reviews Section.
Artist: Bob Wire with Chip Whitson
I would like to take a few minutes to introduce ourselves to everyone.
The EvO:R review section features reviews from various independent musicians that
submit material for our consideration.
I wanted to let you know a little about our review teams collective thoughts on music.
It's important to let the people we review know what we think of their music and how we listened to their creations.
We hold nothing back! The team has been instructed to be honest and respectful of all CD's reviewed.

In the past I have reviewed Bob Wire music. His off color humor to a country music backdrop
was close to being a moving violation. I would be driving down the road
listening to his prior music and he would come up with some of the funniest one liners I have ever heard.
I had a number of swallows of coffee not get down because I was laughing so much or caught mid sip.
The latest CD finds Wire teaming up with fellow gunslinger Chip Whitson to bring some
holiday cheer (or not so much cheer) to everyone.
Songs available on CD Baby:
I've had this CD for a couple months but did not feel as if a Christmas CD should be reviewed before
the turkey gets cooked. Then time slipped past and I still had not reviewed the CD. Before I knew it, we had
Thanksgiving and Christmas pass and I still had the CD sitting on my desk waiting for me to review it.
The good thing about Christmas CD's is that they will be on your Christmas playlist every year starting
in late November. The bad news, they will be in the closet or stored away on your MP3 player for a full year
before being played again.
I must admit, the holiday season is a very difficult time for me. I am in such high demand at work that I
simply can't get into the holiday spirit. I work almost every day from October through the end of the year.
This is very difficult when the people you love want to put up Christmas trees and string lights as well as host parties
for friends and family while I am not in the mood. This CD was welcome relief to me because it appears Wire
agrees with me to some extent.
Songs like I'd Rather Be Alone,
You Ain't Gettin' Shit For Christmas and
Sha La La La (Don't Come Home This Christmas) refect my additude during this taxing time of year.
It was almost autobiographical to my life at that time.
Off White Christmas is a full-length collaboration between roots rockers Bob Wire and Chip Whitson.
The two guitar-slinging songwriters have been thrilling crowds in several bands for more than 20 years,
and they both have their stories about what brought them to the idea of recording an album of all-original Christmas music.
On most of my reviews I talk a bit about the recoring quality and how the studio makes or breaks the record.
This CD did not need such scrutany. It's light hearted and ment to be laughed at not picked on because the drums were a little
flat. This CD is a fun recording which will be fun to break out in late November and play until that old fat Santa has
come and gone on Christams day.
All new rockin' Christmas songs to add some fun your holidays! Guitar-happy rock
reminiscent of Buddy Holly, Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Elvis,
and other rock greats. Sure to be a Christmas favorite, and it makes an awesome

In conclusion, I could only have wished this CD was funnier. The last CD was hysterical and I really needed the lift during
the holiday season. Although You ain't getting shit for Christamas was classic Bob Wire the other 10 songs did
not have that classic make your drink come out your noise comedy.
