Harley's voice is what people first comment about when hearing her
music. Her unique, lovely voice combines strength and fragility, a
seemingly impossible combination, but an appropriate description,
nonetheless. Her artistic mission is soundly tied to Country Music,
a concern for what people are thinking and feeling, and a desire to
touch her listeners, uplift them and help them through their day.
Winner of the New Jersey Country Music Association's "Female Singer/Songwriter
of the Year" for 1999 and 2000, Barbara combines her unique voice with a strong
and melodic writing style, which she has sharpened in recent years with cowriters
Al Lind and Kim Jakubicki.
Rustie was nominated for Female Vocalist Of The Year, and her album,
"That Oughta Do It," was nominated Album Of The Year in Indie Tracker
Magazine. Rustie has been in many publications such as "Southern
Country," The South's No. 1 British Country Music Magazine, Country
Music Round-Up,Country Gazette, Holland's largest magazine, COVER OF
January 2002 Issue of H.E.E.T. Magazine, and many more! Rustie has
also made numerous TV Appearances such as Fox 28 WTTE, and the well
known "Bingo Show," which is broadcasted on TV Danmark 2, across the
entire country and also seen in Greenland!
Dave Isaacs is the kind of versatile and idiosyncratic artist that drives purists mad.
A classically-trained guitarist with a love for bluegrass mandolin, and a child of the
power-pop late 70's with a debt to the free improvisations of John Coltrane and Keith
Jarrett, Isaacs' work is difficult to sum up in a single sentence. The ancient Appalachian
mountain ballads of Jean Ritchie and Doc Watson coexist alongside gypsy flamenco,
foot-stomping blues and the solo suites of J.S. Bach, Bakersfield twang and the piano
music of Bartok and Debussy. Every artist distills the whole of music history through
their own sensibility, but Isaacs' palette is exceptionally wide by any standard.
David performs at a few of the local Opry's. He doesn't play an instrument , but does
a track show from the back of his custom made Sundowner horse trailer for private parties,
small town festivals, fund raisers, trail rides and cattle drives. "Nothing ventured nothing
gained, you can't hit if you don't swing"..Starting out writing "Heart and Soul" as a
tribute to his mother who passed away, a collection of nine original songs
over the past five years were created along with covers of great traditional songs.
"I Think I'm a Cowboy Now" and "Honky Tonkin'" Originally intended as something to pass on to our family
members, "Heart and Soul" songs have been given airplay and rave reviews.
Elizabeth Roth is an acoustic guitarist and vocalist,
singer/songwriter who performs as a soloist and in various combos.
Style of music is best described as acoustic guitar centered rock,
with 60s and 70s folk influences. She lives in St. Augustine and
performs regularly in North Florida, and her new CD 'like the david"
is due out in April 2003. Her repertoire of cover songs is extensive and includes
over 400 tunes by over 250 different artists, with songs ranging in style from folk
to rock to modern country and contemporary popular music.
Notable performances have included renowned clubs like NYC's Bitter End, Denim &
Diamonds, and Le Bar Bat, Long Island's Stephen Talkhouse and Jones Beach Theater,
the 2000 Woodstock Reunion, the 2001 Florida Citrus Festival, and opening slots for
country superstar Martina McBride, country-pop rising star Jessica Andrews, alternative
country legends the Flatlanders, and classic rock veterans George Thorogood and the
Steve Miller Band. Two songs from the Sense Of Direction CD can be heard on the
soundtrack to independent filmmaker Michael Lee Barlin's award-winning feature "The
Pig Farm" which had its debut screening in New York City in August of 2001 and has been
released on DVD in Europe.
Andy's mix of desert dry drawl and sweet harmony rides along
nicely with the stripped back production and earthy tone on
this his most accessible collection of songs to date. The songs
are simple and to the point, and have a definite air of authenticity
and classic country about them. Guest appearances by the legendary
Ed Bates (Pedal Steel), as well as numerous other bumpkins help
decorate this album with different flavours, colours and textures
which will see many more people than just hardcore country fans
getting into this record. Picture an afternoon spent in the warm
sun, sitting back in your favourite chair, sipping a cold beverage
and listening to what is soon to be your favourite roots album,
spinning away nicely in the background, telling you 'all is well'
back at the ranch.
Laurie and Rick Williams
Laurie and Rick Williams write country, pop and adult contemporary music.
They have both been actively involved in music since childhood.
Rick and Laurie are currently residing in northern NY where they write and
record in their "Farmhouse Studio."
Several of their songs are now being considered by name artists.
This is a wonderful songwriting team!
The Crazed Cowboys play country -- different. They combine the heart and humor of
traditional country music with the pounding excitement of great rock'n'roll. Throw
in a dash of hip hop fun, turn on the blender, and start the party. Whiners will be
turned away at the door. Crazed Cowboys review: "I don't know if the first thing I think of when listening to this is hip hop,
but it shore is country. You see, these crazed guys replace beat for twang, and I think that's the key to understanding....
As usual per country, the humor is so ingrained in the magic and emotion of what's
happening, it's impossible to separate the hmmm from the laugh, and why bother"!
Wayne Longtin Sr.
Website for singer/songwriter Wayne Longtin Sr.
Touring extensively during 2007 and now
turning 65 in March of 2008 won't hamper this 40 year veteran of Country Music.
Finding he could write songs in 2004 Wayne launched a whole new career in 2005
with the release of his first CD of original songs. "Take Away the Music" has sold
well and is still selling well. Since then Wayne has written material for 3 more
CD's and 2008 will find him back on the road with personal appearances.
