I’m not sure who is going to wear out some of these tracks first, my kids or I. My kids’ favorites (and mine—I got entirely sucked in) are The 12 Days of Christmas, which had all of us laughing out loud in the car even after several replays, and Fuzzy’s Christmas present, featuring the ever-optimistic hamster who endures annual gifts such as a record player merry-go-round and an annoying guinea pig “buddy” who sounds like a car alarm. Another gem is Squanto and the Jive Turkey. Charlie’s vocal antics are off the map, but right on target for kids! His humor and timing are perfect.

The stories on this album are free of witches, goblins and controversy. War of the Worlds is a parody of the original 1938 broadcast, (not nearly as scary..) and the Christmas stories are all family friendly. This is a perfect gift for everyone.

This was exactly what I needed to help me with a Cub Scout Pack Meeting. My boys had to learn a new song and then also teach a song. Because the songs were simple and clearly enunciated, the boys could follow along and easily learn the lyrics and melody. Because of the instrumental, it allowed them to show what they could do. I used this to teach how to lead the music as well. I loved this CD and would recommend it to anyone with kids at home or kids you may work with.
