The Bill Carrera CD Reviews
Welcome to the EvO:R Carrera Reviews Section.
I would like to take a few minutes to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Bill
Carrera and I am the new music reviewer here at Evor. I wanted to let you know a little
about my thoughts on music. It's important to let the people that I review know how I
think of and listen to music. First of all I believe that if your music sucks then
the world should know about it! After all, you have the nerve to charge as much for
your stuff as the majors do so it better be pretty damn good, and if it is, I'll also
tell the world. I'll hold nothing back!

Review of Fool Killers -
by Barfly
What is it with Indie bands? Is there some rule that states you may only release Cd's that are
less than forty minutes long? This Cd came in at a little over 38 min. That works out to roughly 2.6 cents per minute.
Now, is that a good value? I'll let you do the math. There were certain aspects to this disc
that left me wondering things like, why would anyone write a song that is a mere one minute twenty eight
seconds long, but I digress. If you love bands like Thin Lizzy, Wolf Mother, and Queens of the Stone Age, then this
might be the disc for you. Some of the songs on Fool Killers have some interesting shifts and the band plays
the gritty angle rather well, but this disk left me feeling a little empty.
The songs seem to follow a familiar pattern and become a bit too repetitious as a whole.
I am still not sure what sort of emotion Barfly was trying to convey but with song titles like
"Kill Me Again" and "Burned Again" it makes me wonder whether or not I should listen again.
Right now I just wanna crawl.

The Independent Music world has become so fragmented that anyone entering into this arena will be lost without
having a chance of survival. What every independent musicians needs is information, understanding and a
path that leads to success. Sure, you can buy a few books from authors that never played a note or loaded
a single amp into a moving van. Pipe dreams are all over the Internet.
At EvO:R we pride ourselves with sections dedicated to Independent Music News
called (The EvO:R Street Journal),
Musicians Success Stories and Tips called (EvO:R-pedia) and a
Musicians Testimonial Section called (The Goods) dedicated to Internet based companies that deliver on
their promises.
All this news and information and we don't charge a single penny. We also respect your online privacy by refusing to
